How will you approach filming my wedding day?
We want you to have a blast with your people and forget that we’re even there (tho obviously we totally are). Your wedding experience matters and it’s about you, not us.
We will: take time to get to know you and your plans beforehand so we can be open to spontaneity when filming; seek out candid, in-between moments; celebrate what’s unique about your wedding; make you look cool; get along with your crew; generally be super chill and awesome.
We won’t: block the entire aisle at your ceremony with a massive tripod; blind you with bright lights on the dance floor; pose or direct you while you’re doing your thing; have a bad attitude; make your wedding look lame or embarrassing; fart during a quiet moment (hopefully).
Where are you based? Will you travel for my wedding?
Absolutely. We’re based in Lancaster, PA + Philadelphia and are available to travel just about anywhere! We love to film in new places so we make it easy for you to bring us there:
For weddings less than 100 miles away, we don’t charge any extra travel fees. Examples: NYC, DC, Baltimore, the Poconos, all of New Jersey and most of Delaware.
For regional weddings between 100-200 miles away, we’ll simply need two nights in a hotel (based on average cost in the area, not the Ritz-Carlton). Examples: Pittsburgh, upstate New York, Catskills and Hudson Valley, Richmond, or Charlottesville.
For destination weddings further than 200 miles away, just add hotel + airfare.
We have friends all over and currently offer reduced travel fees for these US cities: LA, San Diego, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, Denver, Raleigh-Durham, Portland (either one), Honolulu, Boston, Nashville, Atlanta, New Orleans.
Do you have experience filming with LGBTQ+ couples?
Yes! Love is love. We’re allies of the LGBTQ+ community and we are here to serve all people in love. We unequivocally support marriage equality and will not refer any vendors with discriminatory views. Hate has no home here.
How will you work with my photographer?
For us, photographer is just another word for friend. We spend all day together, we both love cameras, and we’re helping our couple celebrate their love and enjoy an awesome party. It’s just meant to be.
If we haven’t worked with your photographer before, we’ll reach out before the wedding to say a friendly hello. We want to give them the space and support they need to do their best work. In a pinch, we’ve been known to share our batteries, memory cards, lenses and even cameras with our photo pals too. No ego trips or weird vibes here!
If you’re still seeking a photographer or other vendors, we’d love to recommend some of our favorites in your area who are a match for your style and creative vision. To find inspiration, we suggest browsing the vendor directories at Catalyst Wedding Co. and Equally Wed because there are tons of rad folks on there!
Do we get ALL of the footage from the wedding?
Yes! Every collection includes all of the raw footage we film. Not every videographer includes raw footage, and we get that, but here’s the thing: It’s your party. Your people. Your memories. We capture a ton of moments and inevitably, not every single one can fit into your artistic short film. But just like home movies from when we were kids, you’ll be able to flip through that footage down the road and find random delightful moments with family and friends.
The raw footage includes full captures of big moments like your ceremony, speeches and reception events, but we also offer Documentary Edits if you don’t feel like sifting through all the footage yourself (additional edits are available for purchase after the wedding too).
Do you have insurance?
Hell yeah - we are really clumsy! (joke) But seriously folks, we are fully insured. If your venue needs a COI, just say the word. We can usually get it back from our carrier within 24 hours.
We love your work! How can we book Love More for our wedding?
Yay! When you inquire, we’ll get back asap to chat more about your wedding and help determine the best video options to fit your plans and vision. Once you’ve chosen a collection, we’ll send over a contract and invoice for you to review. We simply need the signed contract and 50% retainer to reserve your date.
Simple. Boom. Done. Let’s party!
